Melinda "Mindy" was born and raised in Missouri. She comes from a family of two brothers and one sister, and is the third child. Mindy served a mission to Costa Rica and then moved to Utah eleven years ago.
Mindy received her Associate Degree of Nursing from UVSC in 1995. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix. Mindy then attended the University of Utah where she simultaneously earned her Post Masters Certificate, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner's degree and her MS Nurse Midwifery degree in 2004.
Mindy is a certified Hypobirthing instructor, and has quite extensive experience in instructing a variety of childbirth and breastfeeding education programs.
Mindy's favorite pastimes include quilting, crocheting, gardening and she is an avid reader. She also loves naps!
With Mindy's diverse experience, we are very excited to have her in our practice. She really enjoys helping women to feel empowered and to experience birth the way that they really want to.
